Community Technology Programme 2025

APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN NOW – SEE BELOW

Thank you for your interest in our Community Technology Programme. In 2025 we will be sponsoring either:

  • ONE charity or social enterprise with eight hours of FREE IT support per month (for a whole year) or
  • TWO charities or social enterprises with four hours FREE IT support per month (for a whole year).

If you wish to benefit from this free IT support for 2025, please complete the application form below.

You may apply for this annual sponsorship only if you run a registered charity or social enterprise* within Norfolk. Though it is not essential we also prefer to deal with organisations that benefit the people of Norfolk. The closing date for applications is 30th November 2024, a decision as to which organisations will receive sponsorship will be made by noon on 19th December 2024.

* We define Social Enterprise as a business with primarily social objectives whose surpluses are principally reinvested for that purpose in the business or in the community, rather than being driven by the need to maximise profit for shareholders and owners. If you apply as a social enterprise your organisation will be asked to evidence this.

IMPORTANT

In order for us to provide IT support to you in a meaningful way require that – in addition to the free support indicated above – you obtain one or two of our other services which attract a small monthly charge. We will only engage with organisations that take their IT seriously and the two key services we recommend are as follows:

  • Our remote monitoring and management service at a price of £7.50 per device per month (Required for all supported desktops, laptops and servers).
  • An antivirus and firewall package at a price of £4.41 per device per month (Recommended for all supported desktops, laptops and servers).
  • If you take up both of these services we’ll charge a bundle price of £10 per device per month.

THE SMALL PRINT

If your organisation is selected to benefit from this annual sponsorship:

  • Your organisation will receive four or eight hours of IT support time per month free of charge.
  • The free IT support time should generally be used up in support tasks but can be “rolled over” and accrued each month until the sponsorship ends.
  • Your organisation may be asked to participate in a case study or provide testimonials about the work we’ve done.
  • The sponsored organisation may use more than the amount of free support provided, though these “overages” are charged for.
  • Overages are charged for at our standard hourly rate with a 20% discount applied.
  • If we pay you a visit we will charge you a site fee, with a 50% discount applied.
  • All prices quoted exclude VAT.

SHORTLISTING VISIT

If your application is shortlisted for sponsorship we will organise a visit so we can have a chat and look around your site. It gives us a chance to meet you and your staff. We’ll be able to discuss any queries we have about the application and have a quick “hands off” inspection of your IT system before we make a final decision.

SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT(S)

If your application is successful we’ll let you know on or soon after the 19th December 2024 and will start the onboarding process in January 2025.
