* EDR vs MDR
Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) refers to monitoring your devices for suspicious activity. Many threats are handled automatically, but human intervention is required when a threat isn’t properly identified or mitigated. For customers using this service, we provide scheduled monitoring and respond to alerts as needed.
Managed Detection & Response (MDR) is a service where threats are managed by a dedicated security team at Sentinel One who are available 24x7x365. This team identifies, analyses, and responds to threats in real-time, offering proactive intervention that reduces the cost of support and the impact and costs of incidents.
Ongoing Support
Whether you choose just SentinelOne Control, or SentinelOne Control with the SentinelOne Vigilance Add On, you will need some ongoing oversight and support. As a result we only offer this service to customers on a legacy RMM agreement or a Block Hours IT Support & Maintenance Agreement.
